Volunteers are the lifeline of the charity and the unsung heroes of our community. We are always looking for new volunteers to help us continue our work.
If you can spare a few hours, we would appreciate your help to support and make a difference to local people.
Vacancies
We currently have vacancies for:
- Reception* - Taking orders and answering general enquiries
- Kitchen duties* - making hot drinks/loading dishwasher
- Café/Front of House* - (waitressing and checking café customers are happy
- Fundraisers – Do you have time to help organise events or collect prizes? If so we’d love your help and to hear your ideas!
*Reception, kitchen and café shifts are Monday-Friday and either 10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm or 2pm-4pm.
Become a Volunteer
Please contact the office and you will be given a volunteer application form. It asks for general information about yourself and for two referees.
Once the completed form is returned, we will contact your references and once they have replied you will be invited for a trail shift. You can either have a dedicated shift each week or we are also looking for people who are flexible to cover holiday and sickness.
